Formerly Constantinople, the city is both in Europe and Asia and crosses the Bosporus. There are large corporations operating from the Levent Business District and other area locations. Many international businesses call it home and use it as a jumping off point for relations between Europe and Asia.

It just isn't a thing. You can offer to pay the whole check, but don't fight over it. A better choice is to offer to pay the next time. Whoever invited everyone out is the host, and thus, usually pays. So invite them out the next time to make up for it.
Dress fairly conservatively. The locals may dress a little racy but you are better off taking the conservative approach as being a westerner may impact how you are viewed more than a Turk might.
