THEY improv now operates in Southeast Asia to provide team building on behalf of our clients throughout Thailand. With a variety of American-styled corporate events and training programs, we can help bridge the cultural divides, as well as bring a little bit of home to employees working abroad in Bangkok and elsewhere.
WE HELP BRIDGE THE CULTURAL GAP While the people of the United States and the Thai people may have grown up in vastly different circumstances, the reality is that the things we have in common far outnumber the things that keep us apart. We help to see the best in one another. Regognizing ourselves in those we work with, we bridge the cultural divide and create a safe and friendly work environment.
We help your teams remove the borders that separate them from one another. We help them bridge the cultural divides and work together toward common goals.

It is considered to be rude. While that is commonly a problem, even more so here. It is even more rude to somehow point with your feet. I'm not sure how that would work, unless you were carrying something heavy, but you shouldn't do it.
Showing large emotions are frowned upon. It has to do with the issue of saving face. If you display your displeasure, you are putting someone else at a disadvantage and causing them to lose face.
Americans are used to having the ability to criticize. On the one hand, it is strongly seen as a strike against any individual person within the country if you criticize the leader. Worse, it is actually against the law and there is a truly legitimate concern of jail time. Even treat the money with respect.
Most Thai food is to be eaten with a spoon in your right hand and a fork in your left used to guide food onto the spoon. You eat with the spoon and NEVER eat from the fork. The Left Hand is generally considered unclean. Chopsticks, which are used for noodle dishes, spring rolls, etc., are more rare here, and should follow similar etiquette as around the rest of Asia.
WE CARE FOR YOU! We care for you and your guests. We will discuss your desires for safety measures regarding Covid-19 and want you to feel secure in the knowledge that we are looking out for you, our client.
Most of THEY improv events are conducted in English. English tends to be the shared common language of our clients, though we may need to make some adjustments for varying cultures and backgrounds. Pop culture, for instance, might not be as shared. We will be happy to discuss your needs and adjust.
